England were 2-1 down when Bellingham finished well from a corner, but a video assistant referee check soon penalised the Real Madrid star for handball and ruled the goal out. Senegal would go on to add a third and claim a historic victory at Nottingham Forest's City Ground.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
England were drab in their 1-0 victory over Andorra last week, with Kane scoring the only goal of the game. He was on the scoresheet again on Tuesday night but the Three Lions were largely outclassed as Ismaila Sarr, Habib Diarra and Cheikh Sabaly all struck the back of the net. That didn't stop the England captain from bemoaning the decision to disallow Bellingham's strike, however.

WHAT KANE SAID
Kane told : "If you know the rules it's not handball. That gets us back in the game and maybe we can go on and win the game, so it's a big moment. It's something we will discuss later.
"Not good enough. We had moments, but with and without the ball things aren't clicking, we're not finding the right tempo. We've lost that aggressive nature that we had.
"We're not going to panic but we know we need to be better. New ideas, there's new players coming into the team that don't have experience at international level. It's a mixture of things but no excuses. We need to find it quick, the World Cup is going to come around really fast so every camp is really important right now."
