ToggleFormer England international Lingard has, according to , placed JLingz Ltd into voluntary liquidation. That is because the latest accounts lodged with Companies House show that the firm sits £276,883 in the red.

It is claimed that the company has never been profitable since its launch some six-and-a-half years ago. Lingard branched out into the fashion business ahead of representing his country at the 2018 World Cup – with lines of clothing, footwear, headgear and lifestyle accessories being launched.
Lingard faced criticism when piecing together plans for a brand that features his famous ‘JL’ goal celebration symbol. United legend Gary Neville said ahead of a Premier League contest that saw the Red Devils suffer a 3-1 defeat at Anfield: "Before Liverpool away — the biggest match of the season — don’t launch a clothes brand."
Lingard left Old Trafford as a free agent in 2022 and spent a season with Nottingham Forest before being released again. He is now plying his trade in South Korea at FC Seoul, with the 32-year-old rediscovering his smile on the pitch as off-field ventures become a source of frustration.
